Located at 25 Central Park West in Manhattan, 25CPW is an artist run alternative space which provides the opportunity for artists, curators, writers, and educators to engage with each other while simultaneously reaching out to neighborhood residents and the general public. Housed in a donated vacant storefront, 25CPW is a unique space for experimentation, exploration and conversation. 25CPW will be opening its doors in mid November with a diverse schedule of events — featuring lectures, discussions, film screenings, poetry readings, performances, workshops and exhibitions.
The Artists
The founding artists, in response to a changing economic and technological landscape, seek to create experimental work that defies the traditional boundary between the photography and art world. The forthcoming inaugural exhibition will feature the work of the founding member artists.
Little Prince Republic
Little Prince Republic is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Dedicated to producing and sharing research in contemporary art and thought, our mission is to provide the general public with an environment to engage with artists and scholars to create a greater cultural dialogue and a space for personal reflection, through striving to be a forerunner in progressive experimentation in art. Little Prince Republic is pleased to introduce its flagship 25CPW.
